A feminist movement FEMEN Ukraine, whose activists have a habit of baring it all, managed to reach the Saint Peter’s Square where she was partially undressed, Sunday, just after the Angelus by the Pope.
Four other feminist FEMEN were intercepted by police, but before reaching the Vatican.
These women wanted to draw attention to their cause when Pope Benedict XVI pronounced the traditional Sunday prayer of the Angelus in St. Peter’s Square.
One of five young women, a tall blonde in tight jeans wearing a kind of transparent black tulle vest, took the time to get to the place and to remove her top to the amazement of the faithful and tourists.
She also managed to pick up a placard with the slogan “Freedom for women” and logo FEMEN before being forcibly taken to the ground and dragged by police
